Esha Deol, popular actress and daughter of legendary stars Hema Malini and Dharmendra, opened up about the role of social media in an exclusive interview

She emphasised the need for balance, suggesting that celebrities must set boundaries to protect their privacy and mental well-being, as constant engagement can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Esha Deol on social media presence
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, speaking about its impact, Esha Deol said, “We were in this industry at a time when nothing like this existed, and yet we were well-known even in the smallest villages of our country. People knew us and our movies, and the reach was strong even then. Now, it’s more convenient, but you get over-bombarded with information—sometimes about things you don’t even want to know. It’s important to maintain a boundary when it comes to social media and decide how much you want to indulge in it.”
