Chitrangada Singh on bagging Battle Of Galwan
Talking to Hindustan Times, the actress said, “Honestly, I was a bit nervous when I came on board. The reason is Salman has such a huge fan following and there are so many eyes on him always. So you get to hear a lot of responses on what his fans think about his work. I am glad that they kind of accepted me with their Salman, their hero. I am happy that it’s been good so far.”
Shedding light on the preparation and the storyline, Chitrangda added, "There is a lot of prep, of course, that has gone into this as it’s about the Battle of Galwan. But it is also delving into the soldiers’ emotional lives — them as husbands and fathers, as sons. It’s about their personal lives. The makers concentrated on getting this whole bunch of people who will be part of the battle. There are also a lot of variables when you are shooting in the dark, so all that was worked out.”
“Multiple look tests have been done for Battle of Galwan as there will be more than just one look in the film," added Chitrangda.
According to India Today, the Ladakh schedule of Battle of Galwan is one of the most important phases of the film. The team is currently shooting the high-voltage climax scenes in Leh and Ladakh, braving the unpredictable weather. A production insider shared that the climax is not only the film’s biggest visual highlight but also holds strong emotional depth.
