by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller clashed with Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh on March 19. However, Dhurandhar The Revenge remains unfazed by the clash. After a bumper opening of Rs 102.55 crore, the movie has been unstoppable. It easily surpassed the Rs 700 crore mark in just nine days of its theatrical run. Interestingly, Dhurandhar 2 has performed exceptionally well at the global box office too.

According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2's nine-day total collection stands at Rs 715.72 crore. On the other hand, the spy thriller minted Rs 854.99 crore in gross collections. Considering its overseas earning of Rs 274 crore, the worldwide box office figures reaches Rs 1,128.99 crore.
For the uninitiated, the Ranveer Singh-starrer collected Rs 43 crore in paid previews, followed by an opening of Rs 102.55 crore. Next, it earned Rs 80.72 crore on day two, Rs 113 crore on day three, Rs 114.85 crore on day four, Rs 65 crore on day five, Rs 56.50 crore on day six, Rs 48.75 crore on day seven, Rs 49.70 crore on day eight and Rs 41.55 crore on day nine.
Karan Johar reviews Dhurandhar 2
On March 27, Karan shared a detailed review of Dhurandhar 2 on social media. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Bollywood filmmaker wrote, "The discussions on Testosterone,hyper alpha energy and deep rooted patriotism will continue as it must… BUT #DHURANDHAR2 is so much more than that … the heart wrenching back story of Jaskirat… the heartbreaking sacrifices made for our motherland…. The humanisation and layered back story even of the antagonist… the impeccable craft… the soundscape and the all round cinematic prowess proves the brilliance and directorial command of ADITYA DHAR."
He further lauded Ranveer Singh, calling Dhurandhar 2 his 'career best work'. Karan added that each time Ranver walks with undeniable swag proves that he is one of the great actors. The director believes that the actor will always be an artist of huge calibre. He also called him a true 'Dhurandhar star'.
