Himesh on dark side of fame
Himesh, who is also an actor now, was last seen in Badass Ravi Kumar. In an interview, he opened up about the dark side of fame. He told on Raj Shamani’s podcast, "Dark side is that it makes people insecure. For example - Mujhe ghazal banani hai and I have four ghazals that I want to release. But I don't have the guts to release them, because numbers nahi aayenge. So I try to find a way I can tell you that don't expect numbers from these songs."
He continued, "How many people will I reach out to convey it? I can say it in your interview and for media interviews, but it will be for my satisfaction. Next day, when numbers nahi aayenge, then people will say this song is a flop. Social media acchi tarah se likhega flop. And when that happens, I cannot make those four great songs."
From iconic Bollywood tracks to viral digital hits, Himesh has been behind several chartbusters. With over 2000 superhit songs, he remains one of India’s popular and bankable music personalities.
