Salman Khan films patriotic song for Battle of Galwan?
A production insider told Mid-Day that Salman's song in Battle of Galwan is a 'rousing military anthem with a deep emotional core'. Having said that, the track is reportedly patriotic, not a 'celebratory number'.
"The mood is patriotic and the song reflects the pride, sacrifice, and pain of the soldiers. Salman and the director were clear that it should feel organic to the story," the insider mentioned.
The report further suggests that the song features over 60 background artistes. That said, the track will focus more on the actor's character emotions than dance. "Filming will continue through the week," the source added. Based on India and China's 2020 military clash in Galwan Valley, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh in a key role.
Salman Khan on prepping for Battle of Galwan
Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Salman opened up about his prep for Apoorva Lakhia's Battle of Galwan. He said, "It’s slow I’m not feeling it yet. But I will especially I feel the cold water, that’s for sure - I am definitely feeling it since shooting in Ladakh."
