Diljit Dosanjh To Perform At Narendra Modi Stadium
Diljit Dosanjh announced the Ahmedabad concert during his historic Wembley performance. The November 21 show will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium, one of the world's largest cricket stadiums. It will mark the beginning of the Indian leg of his Aura World Tour and give fans an opportunity to experience his large scale live production on home ground.
While making the announcement, Diljit said, “Duniya da sabton vadda stadium India de vich hai te gore group ne ohnu sell out kitta respect for them. India de vich sabton vadda stadium hove te Panjabi uthe na aun eh taan phir ho nahi sakda.” He had also told the Ahmedabad crowd, “Kem Cho, majaa maa? We're doing Live at Narendra Modi Stadium on 21st November.”
The concert tickets will be available exclusively through BookMyShow. The pre-sale is scheduled to begin on September 28 at 12 PM, while the general sale will open on October 1 at 2 PM.
Diljit Dosanjh's Global Rise
The Ahmedabad concert comes at an important point in Diljit Dosanjh's international career. Earlier this month, he became the first Punjabi artist to headline Wembley Stadium in London. The show was reportedly sold out in less than 48 hours.
Diljit has achieved several milestones on the international music circuit in recent years. He became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella in 2023 and later became the first Indian artist to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024. His international tours have also included major venues such as Madison Square Garden.
The Aura World Tour has already taken Diljit across North America, the UK and Europe. The India leg will now bring the large scale concert experience closer to his home audience. His set is expected to feature several of his popular tracks, including GOAT, Ikk Kudi, Lalkara, Lover, 5 Taara, Case, and Water.
The announcement also follows Diljit's successful Dil-Luminati India Tour in 2024, when he performed across multiple Indian cities. For fans, the November 21 concert is set to be one of the biggest music events in India this year.
