Dhurandhar part 2 titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge is just round the corner! This Ranveer Singh led film is set to hit theatres worldwide on March 19, coinciding
with the holidays of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid al-Fitr and is currently preparing for a large-scale music launch event in Mumbai on March 17. It has been reported that the event will cater to thousands of fans, making it one of the largest public promotional events of all time for Bollywood. For the unversed, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and others in key roles.
Dhurandhar 2 music launch event will be a big deal!
As reported by Bollywood Hungama recently, Dhurandhar 2 is set to gather around 2,500-3,000 fans for the music launch event in Mumbai on Tuesday. The event is expected to be 2.5 hours long and will include some amazing live performances. The report also mentioned that Ranveer Singh and music composer Shashwat Sachdev will make energetic appearances on the stage. Since, this music launch is the only promotional event of the sequel film, makers are going above and beyond with the preparations.
Dhurandhar inspired by RGV's movies?
During an interaction with DNA at Red Lorry Film Festival, Ram Gopal Varma confessed that he agrees with Aditya Dhar’s statement, where he said that Dhurandhar is a mix of his blockbuster films, Satya and Company. The filmmaker shared his thoughts on the online theories and confirmed Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film was inspired by his previous works. RGV further revealed that his first film, Shiva, was inspired by Bruce Lee’s Return of the Dragon and Sunny Deol’s Arjun.
More on the advance bookings of Dhurandhar 2
Apart from this, the advance bookings for the part two are now open nationwide. According to figures shared by box office tracking account Venky Box Office on X, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has collected 1,072,512 dollars in premiere advance sales in the United States alone. The movie has been scheduled across 690 locations with 1,765 shows, and around 67,143 tickets have already been sold. The total North America premiere advance ticket sales are at 1.31 million dollars. This comes just five days ahead of the release and the film is already breaking massive records at the box office worldwide. Dhurandhar 2 will release in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
