The official trailer of Bandar has been released. Days after unveiling the teaser, the makers of Bobby Deol dropped a hard-hitting glimpse on social media.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the crime thriller has been scheduled for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026. The trailer of Bandar begins with a glimpse of Bobby in a police station. It is followed by his interactions with multiple women and his dream of becoming a star. But one day, his life turns upside down when the police show up at his door. Bandar producer Nikhil Dwivedi shared the trailer of Bandar on his official social media handle. While sharing the trailer, he wrote, "Written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, Bandar is Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under Saffron Magicworks and presented by Zee Studios is all set to release in theatres on June 5!" The trailer reveals that Bobby aka Samir has been arrested after a woman accuses him of s*xual assault. However, Samir claims that he is innocent and hasn't not done anything. Apart from Bobby Deol, the star cast of this crime thriller includes Saba Azad, Sanya Malhotra, Nagesh Bhonsle, Sapna Pabbi, Jitendra Joshi, and others.
In an official statement, Bobby spoke about his role in Bandar. The actor said that every actor wants to do something new because an image is set and it's difficult for them to ge out of it. "I also went through it, but now I must say doing this film was totally out of my comfort zone. I kept my shyness aside and did this film shamelessly," he added.
Bobby Deol's work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bobby will next be seen in Alpha with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is the first female-led spy thriller in the YRF spy universe. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie has been scheduled for a grand theatrical release on July 10, 2026. The actor will also be seen in Jana Nayagan. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was scheduled to release in cinemas on January 9 this year. However, its release has been delayed due to certification issues. It features Tamil Nadu CM Thalapathy Vijay in lead role.
