BTS member V left Indian ARMY screaming on December 27 when he teased a major reveal about the band's comeback world tour in 2026. Kim Taehyung aka V hinted
that India might just be one of the pit stops for their concert shows. During a Weverse live on Friday, V first wished a "namaste" and then dropped the bomb! 2026 marks an important year for BTS as the band is set to return to music with a new album and a world tour expected to take place during the spring. All seven BTS members - Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook completed their mandatory military service and returned to civilian life in June 2025.
V says 'namaste'
V, who interacted with the ARMYs through a live on Weverse, spoke about birthday buses and BTS' early HYYH era. The high point came when he sparked massive excitement among Indian fans by fueling up speculations about the group coming to the country. "Namaste, namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year..." is all that he said. But his single line was enough to send the massive desi fandom in a frenzy.
Indian ARMYs cannot keep calm!
Indian ARMYs have ever since flooded social media with happy reactions. Many took to X (formerly Twitter) and expressed excitement. A fan wrote, "Wowwwww this is true. God himself confirmed." A second one wrote, "SCREAMING, CRYING, KICKING RANDOM THINGS, THROWING UP, PUNCHING THE WAL CUZ WTF DID I HEARD IS GONNA BE TRUE E DNDKAJNDNSMAM."
Many declared they are already saving money for the tickets. "I have zero money but I am gonna ace my PHD acceptance exam just for my TaeTae!!!!" wrote a fan. Another one raised pertinent question: "That’s exciting news about the concert in India! Im curious how the venue selection influences the overall experience for fans. Do you think the location will attract a diverse crowd, or might it cater more to local fans?"
HYBE opens Mumbai
Though there hasn't been any confirmation from BTS label HYBE, it continues to call the rumours, unverified speculation. But, Indian fans refuse to lose hope. An ARMY said, "Hybe opened a india branch so for promotion i think bts will come."
This comes as HYBE launched its India branch in Mumbai this year, promising to bring K-pop to the country. Ever since, fans believe it has paved way for BTS adding India as a destination in its upcoming world tour.
