The Odyssey OTT premiere and Release
According to Variety, The Odyssey will have an OTT premiere on November 17, which is excactly four amonths after its theatrical run. The movie will reportedly arrive via premium-video-on-demand service. This means people can watch the film by purchacing or renting it.
At the same time, the makers will apparently release 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on the same day. That said, as per Economic Times, the price and digital availability will be released closer to its release day. The report further suggests that the Matt Damon and Anne Hathway-film is likely to be made available for purchae and rentals on platforms like AppleTV, Fandango at Home, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube Movies & TV.
Matt Damon On His Role, Working With Christopher Nolan
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Matt reacted to how he made the character of Odysseus relatable. "Well, that's always been the story with Odysseus. He's a very complicated character. He doesn't always make the right choices. And Chris' screenplay was really exceptional," he said.
The actor further praised the filmmaker for giving a lot of freedom to actors in creating their characters. "He's just such a good actor's director and gave us a really good screenplay to work with," he added.

Apart from three primary actors, The Odyssey's star cast includes Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. Ludwig Göransson has worked on the film's music, while Hoyte van Hoytema has served as the cinematographer. Jennifer Lame, on the other hand, is an editor on this project.
