Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, the film has earned over Rs 200 crore at worldwide box office. Within six days of its big screen release, Mirzapur's film version has achieved a huge feat.
Mirzapur: The Movie Enters Rs 200 Crore Club Globally
According to the makers, Mirzapur: The Movie surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The crime thriller, which was released theatrically on September 4, has worked well in international territories like Gulf, Australia, and Canada.
That said, the film collected Rs 12.55 crore on day six of its theatrical run, taking its India (net) total to Rs 137.90 crore. For the unversed, it took a bumper box office opening of Rs 25.75 crore, followed by an earning of Rs 32 crore. On day three, the project collected Rs 36 crore, Rs 16 crore on day four and Rs 15.60 crore on the sixth day of its release.
Ali Fazal Reacts To Packed House For Mirzapur: The Movie
A few days ago, Ali visited the Gaiety Galaxy cinema in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor, who plays Guddu Pandit in the film, was surprised to see a packe house for his project. Sharing a video of his theatre visit, Ali described his experience in a note on Instagram.
"Every actor who comes to Mumbai dreams of one thing… seeing their film play to a packed house at Gaiety . Last night, I stood there and watched it happen. Didnt mean to get emotional. .. just love for all of you. Seeing Gaiety housefull for Mirzapur: The Movie , standing there with my wife , was one of those moments that will stay with me for a lifetime," he penned.
