members of the Aditya Dhar-directed film got hospitalised in Leh due to food poisoning. Isn’t it shocking? The officials confirmed about the same with the tabloid.
Over 100 crew members hospitalised in Leh
The officials told Mid-Day, “Over 100 workers of a Bollywood film crew were hospitalised in Leh after a suspected case of food poisoning late Sunday evening.” For the unversed, the crew members developed severe abdominal pain, vomiting and headaches after eating the food.
After that, they were immediately rushed to the Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh for treatment. The doctor confirmed that it was a case of mass food poisoning. An official confirmed that nearly 600 people ate the same food at the location. “Food samples have been collected for detailed analysis to identify the cause,” the official added.

A senior doctor revealed, “We managed the patient rush effectively. The police also stepped in to regulate the overcrowded emergency ward and prevent panic.” The patients are now in stable condition, and most of them have been discharged after receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the authorities are waiting for the reports of the food samples to fix accountability. According to Republic World, the incident happened on the sets of Ranveer Singh’s film, Dhurandhar. Hence, many people are curious to know if the producer, director or any Bollywood stars were among those affected people.
Talking about Dhurandhar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal in key roles. The makers have released the teaser of Dhurandhar on Ranveer Singh’s birthday. The film is slated to be released on December 5, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
