Fans had been waiting with bated breath for Dhurandhar 2’s teaser. However, little did they know that the spy actioner's makers had another surprise in store!
Just hours before the teaser dropped, Ranveer Singh shared a glimpse of his new film on social media. He called it his "revenge" saga and wrote, "Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai." The poster shows Hamza Ali Mazari in a bold, intense look. It has left movie buffs even more excited for the teaser and the sequel. It hit theatres on December 5, 2025. The film’s story follows an Indian agent who goes undercover in Pakistan and gradually becomes part of the dangerous Lyari mafia. Based on true events, it shows how the spy works from inside to take down Karachi’s criminal network. After releasing on OTT in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, the film has reached India’s No. 1 movie in the streaming charts. This has only added to the hype around its sequel. Dhurandhar 2's shooting is still in progress. Recent behind-the-scenes photos from Mumbai showed Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) and SP Aslam Chaudhry (Sanjay Dutt) in a tense moment, leading fans to speculate about the story. The sequel will focus on Hamza’s revenge and reveal the real identity of ‘Bade Sahab’. It will also focus on the backstory of Jaskirat Singh Rangi (real name of Hamza).
