For the uninitiated, a Bollywood film generally lands on streaming after 45 to 60 days of its theatrical run. Talking about Dhurandhar, which was released in December 2025, the movie premiered on Netflix. However, the second installment of this blockbuster film will stream on another OTT giant.

Meanwhile, 2,05,899 tickets of Dhurandhar 2 have been sold since its advance booking began. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has earned whopping Rs 12.28 crore (without block seats) and Rs 18.1 crore (with block seats). That said, Dhurandhar The Revenge's mega clash with Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been averted. The makers of Geetu Mohandas-directorial postponed the gangster drama's release to June 4. This decision was taken due to rising tensions in the Middle East.
How will Toxic's postponement benefit Dhurandhar 2?
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, trade expert and exhibitor Akkshay Rathie reacted to Toxic's postponement and revealed what it meant for Ranveer's movie. He said, "By having them come on different dates, we will now be able to optimally monetise both the films and ensure that the business is maximized not just for us, but also for the entire value chain, including the distributors, producers and studios. So, I really think it's a good win-win (scenario)."
