What is the story about?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War is one of the most-awaited releases of next year. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles,
the movie is set for a grand release on January 21, 2027. As of today, the SLB directorial's shoot is still on. Amid this, photos of Ranbir and Alia from Love & War have surfaced. Zoom's exclusive images feature the actors in retro avatars. For the unversed, this movie marks the duo's silver screen reunion after Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal reunites with Ranbir after Sanju and with Alia after Raazi.
Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Spotted On Love & War Set
Zoom TV shared images of Ranbir and Alia from Love & War's set on Instagram. The caption to the post read: "Exclusive: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, straight from the sets of Love & War — consider this your peek into the SLB world everyone’s been waiting for. Can’t wait!"
For those unaware, Love & War was initially set to release in theatres on December 2025. However, its release was pushed and now it will finally arrive on the big screen next year. According to Mid-Day report, Sanjay Leela Bhansali intends to wrap his film's shoot by August 31 as all three leading actors have packed work schedules.
A source told the tabloid that once September begins, Alia, Ranbir and Vicky are expected to move on to their next work commitments. The report suggests that Ranbir will commence Ramayana's promotions after completing SLB's magnum opus. That said, the final schedule of this project is likely to have two war scenes and dance numbers. The war sequences will reportedly include 50 stunt performs along with 300-350 junior artists.
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's Work Front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The mythological epic features Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as demon king Ravana. Sunny Deol is associated with this project as Lord Hanuman, while Ravie Dubey plays Lord Lakshman. Indira Krishnan, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Ajinkya Deo, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor, and others are also associated with this film.
Alia, on the other hand, was last seen in director Shiv Rawail's Alpha. The actress featured alongside Sharvari in Yash Raj Films' first-ever female-led spy thriller. The movie also starred Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Bobby Deol.
