In a recent interview with Times Of India, Shehbaz Badesha spoke at length about his entry in the Bigg Boss season 19 saying that, "I'm very excited to be a part of the show. It's good that fans are expecting me to be a part of the show and I hope I live up to people's expectations."

While addressing the internet's comparison with Shehnaaz Gill, his sister, he said, "People are comparing me with Shehnaaz. However, I don't mind that as she's my own sister, my own blood. I don't care what people in the show think about me. I care more about winning hearts of the audience. I'll give my best in the show, rest I'll see what fans think of me."
He further added, "I'll show people who I am and I don't care what people think of me. I've manifested this for ages and God gives me exactly what I want. Even if it took time, eventually I got what I wanted. It might have taken time but I got what I wanted. I didn't do any work because I had decided that I'll do Bigg Boss first and then do anything."
