Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is all set to hit theatres on October 2, just in time for the festive
season. Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the film has already generated buzz among moviegoers. And, according to new reports, the film has officially been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate.

Featuring an ensemble cast that also includes Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, the film is being pitched as a light-hearted family entertainer, ideal for the Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra holidays. The movie has received a U/A certificate by the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC).

As reported by Pinkvilla, the film has a tight runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes, including the opening credits and final song. Described as a “fast-paced entertainer,” the movie is said to balance comedy, music, and drama in a compact format designed to keep audiences engaged throughout.
This duration aligns with previous successful collaborations between Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania ran for 2 hours and 13 minutes, while Badrinath Ki Dulhania had a slightly longer runtime of 2 hours and 19 minutes. Like those hits, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has also been certified U/A, keeping with the tradition of breezy, family-friendly rom-coms.
