What is the story about?
Bollywood is getting ready for something very different. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala, who is already busy with the big-budget comedy Welcome to the Jungle,
has reportedly now signed Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff for a zombie comedy. The yet-untitled movie will be directed by Ahmed Khan, who is well known for his work with Tiger in the past. Shooting is expected to begin before the end of 2025.
Shanaya Kapoor, Tiger Shroff Roped In Zombie Comedy
According to Variety India, Firoz Nadiadwala has decided to produce a zombie comedy to be helmed by director Ahmed Khan. Both Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff have come on board the project. The story details are being kept under wraps for now.
This one could prove to be an exciting project as the zombie comedy space has barely been touched since Raj & DK's Go Goa Gone back in 2013. If executed well, the film could open up a whole new genre for Hindi cinema.
For Tiger Shroff, this will be a big change. His entire career so far has been built around action films like Baaghi and Heropanti. A zombie comedy would be his first real step into humour and fans will be curious to see how he pulls it off. He has worked in Ahmed Khan in movies such as Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, and Heropanti 2.
Another zombie-themed project in the works is Ranveer Singh's Pralay, but that film leans towards action and dark thriller elements.
Shanaya Kapoor, Tiger Shroff's Other Upcoming Projects
Shanaya Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, opposite Vikrant Massey. She was next seen in survival thriller Tu Yaa Main alongside Adarsh Gourav. However, both movies failed to performed at the box office. She had also signed Mohanlal's Vrusshabha but is no longer part of the project.
Tiger Shroff, meanwhile, has Lag Jaa Gale lined up for 2026. The film, made under Dharma Productions, will see Tiger in a romantic role opposite Janhvi Kapoor. It also stars Lakshya.

Meanwhile, Firoz Nadiadwala and Ahmed Khan's next big project, Welcome To The Jungle is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026. The film boasts one of the biggest ensemble casts in recent Indian cinema, featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, and many more.
