Dharma Productions shared a video of the pooja ceremony before beginning the shoot, wrote, "We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity and too much फ़न! Naagzilla is produced by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Sujit Jain, promising a grand-scale entertainer with fantasy, humour, and visual spectacle.
The film, touted as Bollywood’s first serpent fantasy-comedy, is expected to blend mythology with modern-day storytelling in a fun, adventurous way.

Love & War release date
For the unversed, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film was initially set to hit screens on March 20, 2026. “Though around 125 days of the shoot is already completed, the makers are yet to finish a big chunk of the shoot and hence, the release date has been moved. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be made soon,” as quoted by Pinkvilla. Post Mumbai schedule, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, with the team of SLB’s film, will fly off to Italy for a major schedule. The director is going to shoot the climax scene of the film in Italy, Sicily.
