Anant Nag On Winning Dadasaheb Phalke Award
In an interview with PTI, Anant Nag mentioned that the Dadasaheb Phalke Award is a very special category. The actor also revealed that he had not anticipated receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award before its announcement. He thanked PM Narendra Modi for tweeting about it and made a big announcement about the honour on social media. He concluded his note, saying, “So I'm grateful to him and grateful to this country which has provided me this opportunity.”
Anant Nag will be conferred the award at the National Film Awards ceremony in Kevadia, Gujarat, on September 22. He recently completed 50 years in the industry as an actor. He has not yet confirmed whether he will attend the award ceremony in Delhi, as he is reluctant to travel.
