Diljit Dosanjh breaks silence on talks associated with his tour name
In a recent podcast with Zane Lowe for Apple Music's Takeover segment, Diljit Dosanjh addressed the buzz surrounding the name of his concert tour, Dil-Luminati.
The singer-actor shared a teaser video from the podcast and revealed that he decided the name during a show in New Zealand last year.
He explained, "I did something which is called chakra during the performance. Somebody said you are illuminati. It was said to tease me. I didn’t know what was illuminati. Somebody was teasing me… so I said, ‘If you want to do this, let’s do it’. I set my tour's name as Dil-Luminati. I loved it, so I kept it.”

Diljit Dosanjh's work front
On the work front, the actor has just wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Border 2. Sharing celebratory pictures on his official Instagram account on July 26, he expressed, "BORDER 2 Shoot Finish. Got to play the role of Shaheed Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon Ji in the movie."
About the film Border 2
Directed by Anurag Singh, best known for helming Kesari, Border 2 is the spiritual successor to the iconic 1997 film Border. This new instalment features a power-packed cast, including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles alongside Diljit.
The film is backed by a strong production team, with Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta producing it under the banners of T-Series and JP Films. It is set for a grand theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
