Reports claimed that SLB requested reshoots of certain scenes, which reportedly frustrated Ranbir as he looked forward to his next project. Reddit threads also speculated about tensions on set. However, a recent update confirms that everything is fine and on track. The film is reportedly progressing as planned, with the cast set to reunite soon after the New Year break. Fallout Between Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali? According to a report by Mid-Day, “The unit is currently on a scheduled year-end break. This was locked months ago.” The source added, “Bhansali films are mounted on a massive scale, so any pause is immediately seen as a delay.” The next schedule will focus on “patchwork and VFX because it is a period film, select scenes, and musical portions.” The insider also stated that “there’s been no fallout.” They added that Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky have been aware of the demanding shoots and are fully committed. None of them have an issue with the long schedules, said the source. The movie is set to resume shooting later this month and will continue until March. More About Love And War The film reunites power couple Alia and Ranbir after Ayan Mukerji's epic mythological thriller Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva. It marks Vicky’s first collaboration with SLB, while being Ranbir’s second after his debut in Saawariya. Initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release, the film was later pushed to March 2026. It is now scheduled to hit theatres in August. All three leads have their plates full. Alia will also be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe film Alpha later this year.
