After the announcement of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, this month, Taylor Swift is giving fans one more treat. Appearing on Good Morning
America on Monday, October 13, Taylor revealed that a "streaming event of the era to Disney+" would be coming in December 2025. She is giving her record-breaking Eras Tour a proper goodbye with a concert film and six-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries on December 12. Find out more details about the OTT releases below.
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour docuseries and Final Show concert film
After the morning show announcement, Taylor posted on X (formerly Twitter), "It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety. The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be yours December 12th on @DisneyPlus."
The teaser trailer of the docuseries gives fans an inside look at Taylor on the 21-month tour. She promises, "We have broken every single record you can break with this tour. The only thing left is to close the book." Some famous friends will also be joining Taylor on the series as tour openers Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, and special guests Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch will be participating.

The docuseries Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era is directed by Don Argott, co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, and produced by Object & Animal. The first two of the six episodes will premiere on December 12, with the next two released over a two-week period after that.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Productions in association with Silent House Productions. The concert film focuses on the Eras Tour finale on December 8, 2023, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada. In India, both projects will be streaming on JioHotstar.
