When Kamal Haasan asked Farah Khan to 'duck off'
During the latest podcast on her YouTuber channel, featuring Shruti Haasan, Farah Khan recalled when she approached Shruti's father Kamal to play the role of antagonist, Raghavan Dutta in Shah Rukh Khan's 2004 release Main Hoon Na.
She mentioned, "Kamal sir was my first choice for Main Hoon Na, but then Suniel Shetty played that role. I went to Chennai to his office and narrated him the script, and he politely asked me to duck off." Though the filmmaker kept the reason to herself, it has since then raised many eyebrows of the veteran actor turning down the project.
