Alia Bhatt is not just one of Bollywood’s leading actresses; she is also a mother, producer, and entrepreneur. On the occasion of her birthday, the Eternal
Sunshine co-founder announced that she is launching a kids’ label under her brand. Called Eternal Kids, the new venture already has three projects lined up. Alia shared that the upcoming films will be based on stories and characters created by her grandfather Narendranath Razdan, who passed away in June 2023. She said the aim is to bring back the magic of simple childhood tales and stories many people grew up hearing and still remember fondly. Alia Bhatt Launches New Kids' Production Label, Alia launched her production house, Eternal Sunshine, in 2021 along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. The first project backed by them was the Netflix film Darlings, which also starred Alia with Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma. The label later produced Jigra and Poacher. She has now decided to bankroll some kids' films. Alia wrote: "Our production house Eternal Sunshine just had a baby. Say hello to Eternal Kids. We have three exciting projects lined up already." She added, "There's C and G and M (We'll reveal their names soon). Based on stories and characters made up by my grandfather. Shaheen and I grew up on these stories and now we're thrilled to bring them to you. We miss you Grandpa."
Alia was very close to her maternal grandfather. After his passing in 2023, she had penned, "My grandpa. My hero. Played golf till 93. Worked till 93. Made the best omelette. Told the best stories. Played the violin. Played with his great granddaughter. Loved his cricket. Loved his sketching. Loved his family & till the very last moment... loved his life! My heart is full of sorrow but also full of joy because all my grandpa did is give us joy & for that feel blessed and grateful to have been brought up by all the light he had to give! Until we meet again."
