Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s romantic comedyTu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, also featuring Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta, released in theatres
on Christmas 2025. While the film received mixed reviews upon release, it continues to generate strong buzz online. Amid the chatter, Mohit Nehra, who makes his acting debut as Sukhi, spoke exclusively to Zoom about his experience of sharing screen space with the star cast. Praising Kartik and Ananya for their humility, Nehra also opened up about candid behind-the-scenes moments. He further fondly recalled a heartwarming gesture by Jackie Shroff, which left a lasting impression on him. Talking about the lead stars, he said, "Both of them have been so kind to me! Since this was my first movie and I wasn’t too equipped with the camera technicalities, I remember Ananya helping me sometimes with the shot being taken and the continuity of the shoot. Kartik would also come and acknowledge every actor before the scene with a polite smile. Despite being such big stars, both of them are really humble and very easy to work with." Asked what the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 star is like on the sets, he responded, "Kartik has a very fun and easy-going vibe to him. I would often see him laughing off the camera, which was so endearing. I learnt so much from him just by observation. He had a great sense of his character and he was even making sure that everyone in the scene was getting the space that was meant for them." Mohit also shared a sweet memory from the sets. He said that his interactions with Jackie were a major highlight for him, adding that the senior actor would constantly crack jokes, keep the mood light on set, and impressed everyone with his incredible humility. "I remember going upto him on the second day of shoot and talking to him. He realised that this film was really special for me, being my debut film. He himself made a very sweet video praising me for my parents, which was so heart-warming. He inspired me so much," said Mohit. Up next, the debutant is hopeful of landing another big-budget project, one that truly gives him the opportunity to showcase his range and skills as an actor.
