Arijit Singh's playback singing decision
The announcement also comes after a major career decision earlier this year. Singh had announced that he was stepping away from his playback singing career, choosing instead to concentrate on his solo artistic pursuits.
His decision had surprised fans, given his immense popularity as one of Hindi cinema's most prominent playback voices. Since gaining recognition after participating in Fame Gurukul in 2005, Singh has delivered numerous chart-topping songs across Bollywood. His recent musical credits include Jai Jai Ram from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Ramayana, while his extensive catalogue features songs such as Agar Tum Saath Ho, Rait Zara Si, Ve Kamleya, Zaalima, Mast Magan, Jhoome Jo Pathaan and Tum Kya Mile.
