Now, a recent update suggests that the makers are set to thrill fans with an exciting announcement video reveal on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the Border 2 team is gearing up to launch their promotional campaign with a specially crafted announcement video. According to sources close to the production, director Anurag Singh has edited a one-minute-long teaser featuring Sunny Deol that captures the essence of the India-Pakistan rivalry, which forms the core backdrop of the film’s narrative. This announcement video is designed to reignite excitement among fans and confirm the film’s scheduled release on Republic Day, January 26, 2026.

Border 2 teaser to be attached with War 2

The source further shared that the announcement teaser will have a significant digital release on August 15, 2025, India’s Independence Day. Additionally, this teaser will be screened across multiplex chains nationwide during the Independence Day weekend, strategically paired with the much-anticipated release of War 2. This collaboration with national multiplex chains comes through a back-end deal, with all theatres willingly agreeing to showcase the Border 2 teaser alongside War 2, maximising its visibility among audiences. Moreover, the teaser’s Key Delivery Material (KDM) will also be circulated to single-screen theatres throughout the country, ensuring widespread reach.
