Directed by Aditya Dhar, it has dethroned Pushpa 2’s Hindi version after a month by crossing Rs 830 crore at the domestic box office. Now, the makers are set to release Dhurandhar – Part 2, which is scheduled to be out on March 19, 2026, in theatres. As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 250 crore. Hence, it is said to be one of the most expensive films releasing in 2026.
Ramayana
Ramayana is the most expensive film releasing in 2026. It is being helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, who is known for directing films like Dangal, Chhichhore and so on. Ramayana will be releasing in two parts, and the first part is scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2026. The magnum opus’ budget is Rs 4000 crore. For the first part, the makers have reportedly spent Rs 900 crore. Let us tell you, Ramayana is being produced by Namit Malhotra, and it features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol and Yash in pivotal roles. King

Sunny Deol is coming up with the sequel to his 1997 blockbuster film, Border, titled Border 2. The film is releasing on January 23, 2026, ahead of the Republic Day. Also starring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles, Border 2 has been made on the reported budget of Rs 230 crore.
