According to Sacnilk, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups has collected Rs 54.85 crore in India (nett), whereas its gross collection is Rs 64.72 crore till 3 PM on Wednesday. The film has 13,556 shows on the first day.
Dhurandhar opening collection
Before the final figure for the day came in, Toxic had already crossed the day one collection of Dhurandhar (2025). As per Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 28.60 crore nett and Rs 33.60 crore gross on its first day. The espionage thriller directed by Aditya Dhar went on to collect Rs 840.20 crore in India, whereas it crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.
Toxic release celebration in South India
Down South, Toxic's release turned into a celebration for fans, who turned up in large numbers across Bengaluru, Raichur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Gadag and Belagavi to catch the first-day, first-show of the film. Many arrived wearing 'Toxic' T-shirts, carrying banners and cutouts of Yash and celebrating the release with music, fireworks and slogans.
According to ANI, Yash's hometown Bengaluru lit up on Wednesday morning as fans gathered at Narthaki Theatre for the screening of the film. Similar excitement was seen in Telugu states, like Hyderabad, where fans gathered in large numbers at Sudharshan and Devi theatres for special screenings. A massive cutout poster of Yash was installed at the theatres.
