has intervened to curb piracy blocking ISPs and cable networks from streaming pirated versions. The court stated that the producers will have to suffer an 'irreparable injury' if piracy continues.

The step to take legal action comes amidst reports of piracy threatening the film's box office performance. By blocking such content, the court seeks to uphold the rights of content creators and safeguard the entertainment industry's economic health.
ISPs are now legally bound to prevent access to both existing and potential new websites that aim to host or stream pirated versions of the film Coolie. This move adds a the significant point that ISPs play in combating digital piracy and protecting intellectual property rights.
This ensures the film's success isn't affected by piracy.
The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Aamir Khan in important roles. This also marks Rajinikanth's first outing with Kanagaraj, a director with a 100 per cent success rate at the box office.
