Fans are eager to find out what's next for Ranveer's turn as the spy Hamza Ali Mazari, whose backstory as Jaskirat Singh Rangi will be revealed in the second part. The music launch of Dhurandhar: The Revenge was held at the NESCO Center’s Hall No. 5 in Goregaon, Mumbai, on March 17 and the fans let the team know how much they are looking forward to the film. Here are five top moments from the event!
Ranveer Singh's swag-worthy entry
The Bollywood star made his entry to the chartbusting tunes of Aari Aari. The actor, who was dressed in a black leather jacket with a white T-shirt, black pants and sunglasses, mimed the now-famous pose by Hamza with the machine gun. Ranveer entered to loud cheers as fans whipped out their smartphones to capture his electrifying entrance. As he was introduced, Ranveer also tried to pump up the audience even more with his energy on stage.
Ranveer Singh asks fans for their favourite Dhurandhar
The energetic Ranveer welcomed audiences to the Dhurandhar: The Revenge music launch to listen to the songs for the first time together. Standing on the stage, he asked the fans for their favourite songs from Part 1. The crowd told him different answers from Ishq Ishq to Shararat and Karvaan. The pleased actor replied that this was what made the album special as everyone had their own favourites and each one is different.
Sara Arjun steps into the spotlight
The young star of the Dhurandhar films, Sara Arjun, also got a moment to step into the limelight. Dressed in a black skirt and halter top, a beaming Sara blew several kisses to the adoring fans and later told them, "I love you guys so much!" She plays Hamza wife, Yalina and is the daughter of an influential Pakistani politician Jameel Jamali (Rakesh Bedi) in the film.
Crowd sings along to Karwaan with Shashwat Sachdev
Composer and singer Shashwat Sachdev had the audience enthralled as he sang Karvaan. An appreciative Ranveer also joined Shashwat and the rest of the singers on the song, but the best part of the night was when they stopped singing and the crowd provided the chorus instead. It was truly infectious.
