Interestingly, Aditya Dhar's directorial has had a phenomenal run at the overseas box office, too. The worldwide collection of Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed the Rs 1,200 crore mark. And guess what? It is now set to cross Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer RRR's lifetime record.
Dhurandhar 2 worldwide collection, film to beat RRR in India
According to Sacnilk, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 earned a staggering Rs 930.44 crore in gross collections in India, and Rs 296 crore overseas. Considering both, the total worldwide collection of Dhurandhar The Revenge stands at Rs 1,226.44 crore.
In India, the film made Rs 778.27 crore within 10 days of its release. It is ready to surpass RRR's lifetime record, which is Rs 782.20 crore. For the unversed, Aditya's movie collected Rs 43 crore in paid previews and took historic start of Rs 102.55 crore, followed by Rs 80.72 crore. On day three, the spy thriller earned Rs 113 crore, followed by Rs 114.85 crore on day four, Rs 65 crore on day five, Rs 56.60 crore on day six, Rs 48.75 crore on day seven, Rs 49.70 crore on day eight, Rs 41.75 crore, and Rs 62.85 crore on day 10.
Manav Gohil on working with Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Manav Gohil, who plays Bansal, reflected on working with Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan and director Aditya. He said, "Ranveer never behaved like a star. He was like a buddy. When you meet him or work with him, you'll realise that he's such a chilled guy. Madhavan is such an endearing friend and brother. Aditya was the captain of the ship with his vision. One would be privileged to follow that vision, and I was one of them. Dhurandhar was a fantastic experience."
Where to watch Dhurandhar 2 on OTT?
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar The Revenge will stream on JioHotstar after its theatrical run ends. The first part is already streaming on Netflix. However, the OTT rights of second part were given to other streaming platform. It's release date hasn't been fixed yet.
