And now, the streaming partner of this family drama has been revealed. The film will premiere on an OTT giant after its theatrical run.

As mentioned on Daadi Ki Shaadi's official poster, the family drama will premiere on Netflix after theatrical run. A Hindi movie generally lands on streaming after 45 to 60 days of its release. Having said that, the makers of Neetu Kapoor and Kapil's movie haven't announced the OTT release date yet.
Neetu Kapoor and his daughter Riddhima, Sadia and Kapil form the primary cast of Daadi Ki Shaadi. The supporting star cast includes Yograj Singh, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Deepak Dutta, and Swaran Pandey. Written and directed by Ashish R Mohan, the film follows the story of a lonely grandmother whose social media post creating trouble for her granddaughter's wedding.
Riddhima Kapoor on Daadi Ki Shaadi
After wrapping Daadi Ki Shaadi's shoot, Riddhima earlier shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle. The actress shared that firsts are always special, referring to first big screen Hindi film. She added that firsts form a blueprint of learnings that one carries for the rest of their lives. Riddhima also shared that over 200 people came together for 52 days to tell a heartwarming, funny and beautiful movie.
"We plotted, we danced, we laugh-cried and cried-laughed, and I cannot wait for you to join in the celebrations when this film hits your screens," she wrote on her Instagram handle.
Daadi Ki Shaadi plot
Ashish R Mohan's Daadi Ki Shaadi revolves around the story of Tony (Kapil) who is gearing up to marry his partner (Sadia) after his divorce. Things turn upside down when Tony's future grandmother-in-law decides to get married. On the other hand his grandfather (Yograj Singh) rejects the idea and threatens to cancel the wedding altogether. What happens next? The mystery will unravel on May 8.
