Mirai trailer launch event, Producer TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed that Prabhas film The Raja Saab faces a delay. The film will now clash with Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju, and Vijay's Jana Nayagan.

Earlier, the producer had earlier hinted at the change in date, saying, "Hindi buyers are asking for a 5 December release, while Telugu buyers want it for 9 January to coincide with Sankranthi. We will take a call that suits us best."
Directed by Maruthi, and Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, The Raja Saab stars Prabhas in a dual role alongside Malavika Mohanan in her Telugu debut, with Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar as co-leads. Sanjay Dutt, is said to play an aged king. The music is composed by S Thaman.
The Raja Saab, produced under the People Media Factory banner, is one of Prabhas’ most awaited projects following Kalki 2898 AD and comes alongside ongoing work on sequels Kalki 2 and Salaar 2.
As per The Economic Times, on the makers of The Raja Saab are caught in a controversy after Ivy Entertainment filed a lawsuit. Case has been filed against Delhi High Court against its co-producer, People Media Factory (PMF), and its directors over alleged contractual breaches related to the film. The company is seeking a refund of its Rs 218 crore investment, claiming PMF failed to uphold key obligations.
