Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to feature in Mudassar Aziz’s next comedy film, which is titled as Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. An earlier report suggested that
Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi will be playing important roles in the film. And now, Rakul Preet Singh has also joined the cast to play a key role in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.

According to Pinkvilla, the actresses have signed the contracts. A source informed the portal, “Unlike Pati Patni Aur Woh, which had two female leads, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will feature three female leads. The Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra production will feature Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead with Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh. All the details about the plot of this comic caper have been kept under wraps for now.”
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will go on the floors in September 2025. The makers are eyeing releasing the film in the second half of 2026. “The script is locked, and it is a quintessential situational comedy with a big ensemble. The casting for other key characters is presently under way,” the source added.

Talking about Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, the film is going to be a spiritual sequel to Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday-starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). The sequel’s plot is going to be the original.
After wrapping up Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Ayushmann Khurrana will start shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s next film from December 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
