Unfiltered Mukesh Chhabra
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mukesh Chhabra mentioned, "Woh pehle ho gaya. Pehle woh waala ho chuka tha. Yeh Ramayan mein ho gaya. Ramayan ek bahut badi picture hai, right? Kyunki uske liye bada star chahiye, itni badi film banane ke liye. But baaki sab discussions ka main hissa tha.
(That happened earlier. It already happened before, in Ramayan. Ramayan is a very big film, right? Because for something like that, you need a big star to make such a grand movie. But I was part of all the other discussions)."

Mukesh Chhabra hopes the film gets an Oscar
Further during the interview, the producer spoke on the hope of this large-scale film getting an Oscar as he said, "Main khud bhi dekh-dekh ke aur din-ba-din surprise hota jaa raha hoon. Mujhe lagta hai ki yeh Oscar tak le jaaye. I’m praying. I think agar Ram keh dein na, Ram ji ki kripa rahi, toh shayad aisa kuch magic ho jaaye. Hum toh dua aur pray hi kar sakte hain, prarthana hi kar sakte hain ki yeh ho jaaye. Agar ho jaaye, toh Bhagwan hai, Bhagwan kuch bhi kar sakte hain.
(Even I keep watching and getting more and more surprised day by day. I feel like this could go all the way to the Oscars. I’m praying. I think if Ram wills it, with Lord Ram’s blessings, maybe some magic like that could happen. All we can do is wish and pray that it happens. If it does, then it’s God, and God can make anything happen)."
For the unversed, the film will also star Sai Pallavi and Yash in the lead roles. It is being made in two parts, while the first one will release in Diwali 2026 and the second one during Diwali 2027.
