in the intensive care unit (ICU), and the difficult road to recovery. While the veteran actor did not disclose when the procedure took place or the reason behind it, his candid note has sparked widespread concern about his health. In a post on his personal blog, the 83-year-old Amitabh Bachchan wrote about being admitted to hospital and receiving treatment under medical supervision. "…in Hospital in a surgery and in the ICU, under the care of proficient Doctors and medical Staff," he wrote, without revealing further details about the surgery. The actor went on to describe the emotional and physical challenges that follow a hospital stay, calling the period after returning home the toughest phase of recovery. "…a discharge .. and a homecoming .. this homecoming period is the most difficult phase .. physically, psychologically and practically .... you are a revered Champion and one day a defeat stares at you .. this is the most difficult phase of your life ..," he wrote. Reflecting on resilience, Bachchan added that while some people overcome such setbacks with courage, others choose to live with memories of their past achievements. "…some brave it .. some succumb .. they that strive and be brave ever remain Champions .. they that do not, get reconciled and live, exist in the past glory .. a choice each makes individually .. nothing wrong by either .. be well be happy .." Adding to fans' anxiety, the legendary actor also shared a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "T 5806 - The game has ended! But the work is still going on." However, a source had clarified at the time that it was only a routine monthly check-up and that the actor returned home the same day. The source also dismissed rumours of any serious health issue, stating that Bachchan was doing well and had resumed his normal routine soon after.
