Recent reports suggest that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to kickstart his next film Golmaal 5 next year in Goa. The news comes right after another
of his films, Drishyam 3, is set to go on floors in December this year. And yet another piece of exciting news surfacing online is that the OG Kareena Kapoor might return for the fifth installment of the banger film series.
Ajay Devgn to start Golmaal 5 shoot in 2026
According to a report by Mid-Day, "Director Abhishek Pathak wants to ensure that the storytelling is as taut as the first two parts. The team plans to begin shooting in Goa by December and wrap up by March 2026. Kareena (Kapoor) shares great chemistry with Ajay. Since she led Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2010), her presence brings a nostalgic charm. The cast will be finalised by December end.”

Talks also bring in that Paresh Rawal has already joined in the cast with the franchise regulars Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, and Kunal Kemmu.
Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 teaser announcement gets DELAYED
The Drishyam 3 teaser, which was earlier supposed to release on October 2, has been delayed. Another Mid-Day report announced, "There is an understanding between the makers of the Malayalam franchise, Jeethu and Antony, and the Hindi remake’s producer Kumar Mangat. Apparently, one of the adaptation clauses states that the Hindi team cannot make any announcement about their film’s content without the permission of the original’s makers. After Mohanlal announced the shoot, the Hindi counterpart’s makers announced that their film would release on October 2, 2026. This sudden date announcement did not go down well with Antony and Jeethu. Following this episode, the clause came into effect."
Drishyam 3 starring Ajay Devgn will be directed by Abhishek Pathak, produced by Kumar Mangat.
