acclaim and proved to be a career "game-changer" for him, has joined Kantara fanclub. The actor took to social media and praised Rishab Shetty's epic as 'wonderful.

During a recent event, Atlee shared his deep respect for Kannada films and the storytellers who have redefined South Indian cinema. Reflecting on Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1, which has surpassed Rs 500 crore globally, Atlee remarked, “Kantara is unbelievable. I had a conversation with Rishab, and what he’s achieved is truly remarkable. I’m so happy for the film.”

Atlee also expressed his appreciation for the Kannada film industry’s stars, highlighting their role in taking it to national acclaim. “I’m also a good friend of Yash,” Atlee said. “Both Yash and Rishab have made huge contributions, and their work is a massive inspiration for filmmakers.”

Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 hit the theatres on October 2 and it has been earning praises since then. South stars like Nani, Prabhas, filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ram Gopal Varma have praised the film and filmmaker Rishab Shetty's performance in the movie.
According to Hombale Films, the production house behind the film, it grossed ₹509 crore worldwide in just eight days. Based on that trajectory, the film's total after day nine is estimated to be over ₹540 crore, though industry trackers suggest a more conservative figure of around ₹520 crore.
