After the gripping conclusion of Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage . Recently,
director Sukumar officially confirmed that the third part is in the works and the team will definitely move forward with it.
Director Sukumar confirms Pushpa 3
The Pushpa team attended the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai on Saturday (September 6), where they won five major awards. During the event, according to a report by Hindustan Times, the hosts playfully teased the team on stage, asking Sukumar the question fans had been waiting for: will Pushpa 3 actually happen? At first, Sukumar joined in the banter before turning to producer Naveen Yerneni and Allu Arjun and confidently announcing, “Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi (Obviously, we’re making Pushpa 3).”
He also cleverly referenced Fahadh Faasil’s character Bhanwar Singh Shekawat’s famous dialogue, “Party ledha Pushpa?” adding humor to the moment.
For those unaware, the film secured five prestigious awards. Allu Arjun won Best Actor, Rashmika Mandanna was named Best Actress, Sukumar took home Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad was honored as Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri received the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for the hit song “Peelings.”

Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s upcoming projects
It’s important to note that fans may have to wait before Pushpa 3 hits the screens. While Pushpa and Pushpa 2 were made back-to-back, both the actor and director are currently working on separate ventures. Allu Arjun is collaborating with Atlee on the sci-fi film AA22xA6, while Sukumar is teaming up with Ram Charan for RC17. The duo is expected to reunite once these projects are completed, though no official announcements have been made regarding timelines.
