Dhanush and his sons were seen wearing traditional silk dhotis and angavastrams as they offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple. The early morning darshan was followed by frenzy as fans gathered around the actor upon his exit from the temple premises. Despite the crowd, Dhanush remained calm and protected the safety of his children. Dhanush’s manager, Sreyas, also accompanied them and was seen holding the hands of Linga and Yatra to shield them from the crowd.
His visit comes in a time when reports online suggest that the actor is in a relationship with Family Man and Dacoit actress Mrunal Thakur. Several media outlets have claimed that the duo may tie the knot on February 14, although no official confirmation has been made by them.
On the professional front, Dhanush was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, which received mixed reviews upon release but has since gained attention after its OTT release. The actor is also working on Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja. The recently released teaser has gained audience interest and raised expectations. Produced on a big scale by Vels Film International Limited, the film is being backed by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh as producer, with his daughter Kushmitha Ganesh serving as co-producer. Set in the 1990s, Kara traces the journey of a man named Karasaami and unfolds as an thriller packed with mystery and action. The poster read, “Sometimes, staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive."
The film features an ensemble cast including Mamitha Baiju, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and others. He is also working on D55. Dhanush and director Rajkumar Periasamy’s upcoming film, tentatively titled D55, has taken a significant change recently. Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, in association with RTake Studios, has officially taken over the project, replacing Gopuram Cinemas, which was earlier announced to bankroll the venture.
