Alia Bhatt on doing Alpha
Earlier, in an interview with Femina, Alia Bhatt revealed what made her say yes to doing Alpha. The actress said, "It’s a genre that I’m betting on, and one that has not been accepted in the past, in India at least" And that's why Alia wanted to understand why this genre had not been accepted wholeheartedly in the past.
She mentioned that there are several female action character in films driven by men; however, she revealed that there hasn't been a story where protagonist is a female character. "And where the storytelling is engaging you to the point where it doesn’t matter what the gender is," she added.
