He will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and fans are super excited to witness him playing the role of Lord Rama. Ahead of film's first glimpse launch on April 2, Kapoor, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, headed to Los Angeles, where they debuted the first visuals from their film to a select audience at an IMAX screening.

At the event, the trio also sat down for a Q and A, where they answered questions about their upcoming film, their characters and more. Speaking during the launch, Kapoor described Lord Rama not just as a mythological character, not just as a 'conscious keeper', but also introduced the western audience to the term 'Maryada Purushottam,' meaning the ideal man.
The actor said, "Ram has been the conscious keeper of billions of people around the globe for centuries and long after. He enlightens us about the human spirit in terms of adversities. He stands for compassion, for courage, for righteousness and forgiveness. He is called Maryada Purushottam, which stands for an ideal man."
