The Jungle's release, the makers have finally confirmed they are working on Welcome 4. Recently, reports of Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal returning for Welcome 4 surfaced online and it is now confirmed that the movie is officially in the works.
Producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirms Welcome 4
In an interaction with Bombay Times, Producer Firoz Nadiadwala said that work on Welcome 4 is currently underway. He revealed that the script is in its advanced stages and more details will be shared soon. Nadiadwala also hinted that the film will feature large-scale music and action sequences. According to him, the makers are planning a multicultural soundtrack, bringing together musicians from different parts of the world, including the Middle East, Africa, the United States and China.

Talking about the storyline, Nadiadwala suggested that the film could bring together popular characters such as Uday Bhai, Majnu Bhai, and Dr Ghungroo, along with more than one antagonist. He described the scale of the film as something that could be “like a 10 on the Richter scale.” He added that the team is working on finalising the cast and is writing scenes while keeping specific actors in mind.What we know about Welcome Franchise?
Original Welcome was helmed by Anees Bazmee and featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor, and Nana Patekar and became a major comedy hit. Its sequel, Welcome Back, also directed by Bazmee, saw Rawal, Kapoor and Patekar return to their roles. In the upcoming third instalment, Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan, Akshay Kumar has returned to the franchise along with several other actors.
Why is Welcome To The Jungle release delayed? Firoz Nadiadwala reveals...
For those unaware, Welcome To The Jungle features a huge ensemble cast. In recent months, there had been several reports suggesting that the movie’s release had been delayed. Addressing those rumours, Nadiadwala dismissed them, saying they were simply speculation. He confirmed that the film is now complete and credited the entire team for pulling off such a large project. Nadiadwala specifically praised Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty and director Ahmed Khan, along with the cast and crew, for managing the scale of the production.He also discussed the difficulties encountered during filming, pointing out that the film features scenes with hundreds of horses and army helicopters. Several expensive cars valued at about Rs 400 crore were used to film one of the songs in Dubai.
Now that shooting is complete, Welcome to the Jungle will hit theaters on June 26, 2026.
