Kartik Aaryan recently treated his fans by appearing in a never-before-seen avatar of an Ichadaari (shape-shifting) Naag. The makers surprised everyone by sharing the motion poster titled Naagzilla. The release date has also been announced— the film will hit theatres on August 14, 2026. Kartik will be playing the role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichadaari Naag.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Johar shared the motion poster and wrote, “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! #NaagZilla – Naag lok ka pehla kaand… Funnn phailaane aa raha hai – Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein – 14 August 2026 ko!"
This is Kartik’s second collaboration with Dharma Productions, following their upcoming Valentine’s Day release Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri.
He will also be seen in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s next project. The actor will be sharing the screen with South star Sreeleela, who is making her much-awaited Bollywood debut. The film’s title is still under wraps, but buzz suggests it’s a romantic musical.
