on August 14 and clash with Batwara 1947. The other movie stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal and Shabana Azmi. Talking about the second part of Awarapan, the project is the sequel to the 2007 which starred Emraan and Shriya Saran. Awarapan 2 Cast Fees
According to News24, Emraan apparently received Rs 10 crore to Rs 12 crore to reprise his role in Awarapan 2. Disha, on the other hand, is rumoured to have earned Rs 5 crore. Shabana Azmi, who is also an integral part of this project, has reportedly been paid Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore.
While Awarapan was directed by Mohit Suri, Nitin Kakkar has helmed the second part. Bilal Siddiqui has written the story, while Amaal Malik and Mithoon have worked on some of Awarapan 2 songs. The music album includes Ve Junoon, Yeh Awarapan, Tera Mera Rishta Continues, and more. Produced by Vishesh Films, the action thriller's star cast also includes Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, and others.
Emraan Hashmi Is Hopeful People Will Watch Awarapan 2
Meanwhile, during an Instagram LIVE session, Emraan explained the idea behind the release plan of Awarapan. The actor shared that the first installment will arrive in theatres after the second part releases in cinemas. "There’s an entire generation, especially Gen Z, that hasn’t watched Awarapan. After seeing Awarapan 2, they’ll be curious to go back and watch the original," the actor said. Emraan believes that audiences can experience Awarapan as a standalone story and in a way, it will become 'prequel'. "They’ll get to see Shivam’s origin story after watching the sequel," he added.

On the work front, Emraan will next be seen in director Aditya Datt's Gunmaaster G9. Written by Junaid Wasi and Sarim Momin, the movie will be theatrically released on October 16.
