Shah Rukh Khan's Meer Foundation sends relief kits to Punjab
According to reports, the Meer Foundation is distributing relief kits containing medicines, hygiene supplies, food items, mosquito nets, tarpaulin sheets, folding beds, cotton mattresses, and other essential items. These kits will reach 1,500 households across Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka, and Firozpur districts. The relief drive has been designed to address immediate health, safety, and shelter needs while also helping affected families rebuild their lives with dignity.

SRK prays for Punjab
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his solidarity with the people of Punjab through his social media handles. Sending prayers and strength… The spirit of Punjab shall never break… may God bless them all.” His words and actions together prove that community and human compassion is what people need most during natural calamities.
Punjab is currently facing severe flooding, with the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers overflowing due to continuous rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. More than 1,000 villages and thousands of hectares of farmland have been submerged, leaving thousands displaced and in urgent need of assistance. Shah Rukh Khan’s relief effort through the Meer Foundation is definitely a ray of hope, ensuring that many families receive the essential support they desperately need during this crisis.
