More about Blackpink
Reports indicate that Blackpink is gearing up to release a new mini album later this year. As per Soompi, citing a music industry insider, the group is expected to finish recording within the next two months, with the album likely arriving in November. The members, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo have reportedly already completed their album jacket photoshoot. The insider further revealed that while the release was originally planned for October, the timeline has now shifted. If everything goes smoothly, fans can look forward to seeing Blackpink perform their fresh tracks live.
YG Entertainment kept its response brief, saying, “We will announce it later through official promotions.” If the news holds true, this will be Blackpink’s first album since their 2022 smash hit BORN PINK. Earlier this year, on July 11, the group dropped their digital single JUMP, which quickly climbed to the top of music charts worldwide.
