The British Academy revealed that a wide range of celebrated talent will be presenting awards on Sunday, February 22. The list includes Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, David Jonsson, Delroy Lindo, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Olivia Cooke and Patrick Dempsey.
Several nominees will also serve as presenters, including Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Hudson, Miles Caton, Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgard. Additionally, BAFTA confirmed that Aaron Pierre, Alicia Vikander, Erin Doherty, Hannah Waddingham, Kathryn Hahn, Kerry Washington, Little Simz, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Milly Alcock, Minnie Driver, Noah Jupe, Regé-Jean Page, Riz Ahmed, Stormzy and Warwick Davis will be part of the starry presenting lineup.
Alia Bhatt’s inclusion continues a growing trend of Indian actors being invited to global award ceremonies. Previously, Priyanka Chopra Jonas served as a presenter at the BAFTAs in 2021, while Deepika Padukone took on presenting duties in 2024.

On the nominations front, Anderson’s political thriller One Battle After Another leads the pack with 14 nominations, narrowly ahead of Ryan Coogler’s vampire drama Sinners, which has secured 13 nods. Chloé Zhao’s Shakespearean drama Hamnet and Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme have each earned 11 nominations. Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value and Guillermo del Toro’s gothic epic Frankenstein received eight nominations each.
There were also notable snubs this year. Wicked: For Good stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande missed out on acting nominations, while KPop Demon Hunters and No Other Choice did not secure nominations. Indian film in Manipuri language, BOONG, backed by Farhan Akhtar, earned a nomination in the Children’s & Family Film category.
